For those that don’t know about world history … Here is a condensed versionâ€&brkbar; Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunter/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and went to the coast or rivers and lived on fish and lobster in the winter. The two most important events in history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups: 1 . Liberals 2. Conservatives. Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture.Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum canwere invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That’s how villages were formed. Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BBQ at nightwhile they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement… Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ’s and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement. Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. They became known as girlie-men. Some note worthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass for obvious reasons. Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamersinHollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn’t fair to make the pitcher also bat. Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud or Miller. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, engineers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living. Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America .. They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing. Here ends today’s lesson in world history: It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it. A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to #$%$ them off. And there you have it. Let your next action reveal your true self…..I’m going to have another beer.

Whoa you’ll have to make it way shorter than that.

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

1. Liberals; and
2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

I just have to dust this one off every once in a while.
Uh-oh. It would seem the libbies can’t take a little joke.

Liberals put fruit in their beer, and conservatives put whiskey in theirs.

I don’t always listen to rap, but when I do, I prefer to listen to Illmatic.

This guy is calling me a so called "Reg", which I am no where near close to. You guys are the model of hip hop listeners, but this guy obviously has no idea that Common came out of my city, as well as ‘Ye, Lupe, and Rhyme Fest. I grew up around the culture, got sick of the mainstream B.S. around 12 years old, and starting searching for better work. Well I found it, and for the last six years, I have absorbed it into my own culture.

Thoughts on this NAT guy?

BQ: Outkast> Eric B and Rakim

BQ2: Dre is overrated as a producer?
@ DICKB, What happened to BDK?!!!!!!!!!!!

You are easily the funniest guy in the section.
I come on here to supplement retarded hip hop opinions with my friends….. The only way I clear myself of any wrong hip hop doing in the night is by being drunk , and forgiving my sins.
@Banjo, he told me to stop acting like a reg, when I clearly just post my opinions on here 24/7. The regs here are obviously guys with enough hip hop knowledge to rate almost any album that has ever been recorded.

I’m not there, but I can give a straight opinion on almost any artist…. This guy tried exposing me as a fraud… I will not take that.
@ Camille, I respect the honesty. I am a whiteboy.
@NAT, probably because I have guys like you throwing a scene any time somebody says so and so is better than X…… Seriously, grow up…

And champange? Thats for special events… Beer is the drink of choice most of the time.

didn’t even read this. but if your drink shouldn’t you be enjoying your bubbly instead of on the computer… just a thought…

2008 Candidate Obama
South Korea: (opposed) "While the agreement would lead to a significant increase in wealth for banks, telecommunications firms, and some in corporate agriculture, it fails to ensure that all U.S. products—especially our cars and trucks, but our rice and beef producers as well—receive fair treatment
in that market. Our employers and workers can compete against employers and workers everywhere in the world, but they should not be exposed to competition against governments systematically discriminating against our products."

http://www.cipamericas.org/archives/720

December, 2010 President Obama
"We have to do more to accelerate the economic recovery and create jobs for the millions of Americans who are still looking for work," Obama said as he urged congressional approval of the "landmark trade deal" with South Korea.

The proposal will support "at least" 70,000 new U.S. jobs and "is a win for American workers," Obama said, particularly automakers, manufacturers and farmers.

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/theoval/post/2010/12/obama-south-korea-free-trade-deal-will-create-us-jobs/1

************************

Although the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) projects this will have a small positive impact on the U.S. trade balance, and “minimal or negligible “ impact on U.S. employment, history shows that such trade deals lead to rapidly growing trade deficits and job loss in the United States.

The Charts below compare USITC’s estimates of the impact of the forthcoming free trade agreement with Korea to EPI’s own calculation. Unlike USITC’s forecast of a small positive impact, EPI’s research shows it will increase the U.S. trade deficit with Korea by about $16.7 billion, and displace about 159,000 American jobs within the first seven years after it takes effect.

http://www.epi.org/economic_snapshots/entry/free_trade_agreement_with_korea_will_cost_u.s._jobs/
http://www.epi.org/economic_snapshots/entry/free_trade_agreement_with_korea_will_cost_u.s._jobs/
The USITC has a history of vastly underestimating the negative impacts that free trade agreements have on the U.S. economy. In 1999, it estimated that China’s entry into the World Trade Organization would increase the U.S. trade deficit with China by only $1.0 billion, and have no significant impact on U.S. employment. In fact, the U.S. trade deficit with China increased by $185 billion between 2001 (when China entered the WTO) and 2008, and 2.4 million U.S. jobs have been displaced or lost. The U.S. trade deficit with Mexico also rose rapidly after the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) took effect in 1994.

As a candidate the economy hadn’t yet collapsed. Now, trade deficit or not we are scrambling for any work. That’s what it says to me.

Is it beef or beer?
And nobody here is gonna know anyway.

Greetings,

A restaurant I frequently visit is labeling on their menu a certain brand of beef as grass-fed, but I’ve confirmed directly from the beef producer that the beef is not grass-fed per USDA guidelines. Prior to this confirmation, I discussed the issue with the restaurant founder and he insisted the beef is grass-fed, and proceeded a few days later to show me information on the beef producer’s website which stated the cows are raised most of their lives on pasture but are finished on grain. The owner claimed that there is no such thing as 100% grass-fed beef, which is untrue.

Based on the questions I asked the beef producer, the beef producer is now asking me if I have found a place that is falsely advertising their beef as grass-fed, but I am reluctant to respond because I’m unsure of the consequences.

Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Thank you,
Nate

If you are in contact with the producer tell them that the restaurant is providing inaccurate info and they should send someone to check the menu in person. Tell the producer you do not wish to have your identity disclosed to the restaurant. This is a job for a "secret shopper"
