Selecting Headphones For Coziness
September 19th, 2010 | by admin |Generally the last thing people think of when purchasing headphones is how comfortable they will be. With all the information out there on the net and in shops no one tells you the most obvious fact and that is ‘try it on before your buy it’. With top headphones costing upwards of $500 it would be awful to buy a state of the art pair only to find they are too uncomfortable to wear. So what do you look for in comfort? Well, first decide if you like the sound right inside your ears or outside. The two main types of around the ear headphones are circum which sit around the ear or supra which sit flush on the ear? The circum style sits around the ear and gives a slightly muffled sound as if the user is sitting in an auditorium whilst the supra style feels like the instruments are right there next to the ear. Whichever one is preferred make sure that the material on the ear pads is comfortable. Leather or fake leather coverings may get sweaty in very hot conditions. Fabric pads do not get sweaty and are a good choice for hot countries.
