HOME (English with subtitles)
May 25th, 2010 | by admin |
We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth’s climate.
The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being.
For this purpose, HOME needs to be free. A patron, the PPR Group, made this possible. EuropaCorp, the distributor, also pledged not to make any profit because Home is a non-profit film.
HOME has been made for you : share it! And act for the planet.

@bugabuse Nope I …
@bugabuse Nope I just read a lot and its true, Mexicos economy will be well off in the next 30 years as long as they keep sending their poor and under-educated to the U.S. Thats how society works. If you cant enslave the indigenous and unfortunate then you extract them for they are no use to society’s destiny which Im still trying to figure out……

@mammal360 I cycle 250 miles a week to get to work and back, and use about 10% of the average household’s electricity. easy: always turn off the lights when you don’t need ‘em, quit tv and write down what you want on the internet before using it.

This was a good …
This was a good video. The only problem I have is that it took alot of engery to view it out of my big screen tv bigcause it’s in HD and I just had to see it that way. Also most of the people here concerned with the way things are going are still using computers that use energy. You probably ride or drive in cars too. And you probably text while driving. We are on a path to our own suicide, and we’re loving every minute of it.

If there is a god, …
If there is a god, in particular a Christian god, and the story of the great flood is true, I can only imagine what those folks must have done to deserve the flood back then. Honestly, how can it have been even remotely as awful as what we’re doing to Mother Earth in the 20th and 21st centuries?

@stopglobalwarming08 Rand Paul is as Libertarian as Hitler was Zionist. Please do not associate true Libertarians with strawmen trying to be what we are, we are far from those neocon, (more like neo nazi) right wing douchebags who only seek to destroy our civil liberties.

I recommend watching Chris Martenson’s Crash Course from his Website of the same name~its a relatively simple and clear description of basic ideas about our environment, economy, energy and our historical moment~ many more of us need to understand.

ShaunakS1: …
ShaunakS1: Obviously, your high school doesn´t give you enough brains, or self determination to think by yourself, or outside the box you´re living in. This documentary tells quite a fucking-a-lot where we are heading at. But no worries if you live in the states of a u.s and a. You fucktards will be short out of a fresh water within 30 years.

@DamnLoveHurts its not 6 days its 7 days,it also says in the bible that one day for god is 1000 days for god,so it was 7000 days to creat earth…which means pure volcanoes,no trees, humans,or anything….it then took millions to create humans and stuff -_-

Too much of a talk …
Too much of a talk show and thin on solutions…stating the obvious, no next steps after watching this for over an hour….
why did she not suggest to consume less and only what is needed, to avoid waste- car pooling, using public transport and stuff like that?
talk, talk, talk, talk…..that’s it! i bet they expended far too much carbon on making this than what they could have saved…..
